The Lost Chaser (Part II)

She steps ahead,

Steps ahead into a world she’s only heard of in fairytales

Every little thing starts to fascinate her,

She was in her own LaLaland.

The delusion of the blinding lights made her close her eyes,

The epiphany of the double faced world hits her like a train freight

Made her want to go back Home and hide.

Trugding her way to her bosom, she realized she isn’t the only one at the bottom.

 

The old beliefs who once she held onto, surprisingly, told her – “Even toddlers fail. They stumble, fall, crawl yet they stand. You see? The want, the desperation, the desire to walk makes them to never give up. Yes, they may take a break; at times injuries do cause pain, but what matters is that they again do try to stand up. With Time he’ll learn how to – step fast, dodge the rejections, heal up his wounds, be self -driven. So will you.”

 

Astounded, she was left at the cross roads

Still reeling from the words of the old man, the stubborn girl with her hopes determined and a hesitant mind decides to shift her gears and accelerate forward

With her head high, she decides to take the jump down the cliff of her life.

A fleeting thought crosses her mind – Was this risk worth taking? The answer was – A Million times yes.

 

Seeing her make her way, Old beliefs sighed in relief that he had trained her well enough for her to know that not every jump’s gonna make her fall down, not every pit stop will be her end and not every cut ends ties.

 

Probably, walking through the streets , unknown to most, chasing the things the things wanted by the most was the only thing on her mind. She didn’t worry of Future because in this journey, she had her own companion : Conscience.

After all, she was ‘the Lost Chaser’. Going against the Conventional flow, reaching for the untold…
