Castle Of Lies

Young and frustrated

Distraught with fear of ‘The Future’

Wanted to go back in time and unravel the true covers of life

Desperate to yell to the ones who made childhood a living, walking lie.

For making believe that one day we grow up to have horse carriages along with a prince charming aboard on his white horse, dresses and ornaments of gold, castle of happiness.

A Question running through her mind : Why?

Why did they not tell that horse carriages wasn’t preferred anymore, now days mostly an Aston Martin, or a dress of gold would be too hot and itchy to wear, to even buy an ornament one would require their savings of all the years of their life and yet not fulfill their desire.

Why didn’t they tell that happiness, once in the real world, comes from money?

Why didn’t they tell that not everyone’s got a prince charming. What about the ones who want princess with three children or the ones who want princes or princesses of the same gender. What about the one who can’t even have a prince or princess as they’re too confused on who they are?

There’s competition to prove yourself. Degrade the other. Pull down your colleague. Why not play fair? Why did they tell us that ‘Honesty is the best Policy’; when an honest man can barely survive in today’s era.

Why didn’t they say about fear, depression heartaches, rejection, society, narrow mindset, pain of being an average. Why didn’t they tell about the bullies, fraudsters, cheats? They didn’t even say that there’ll be a time when no one is true to you, some will become your lapdogs while some become backstabbing friends; while some become anonymous well-wishers.

Did it even bother them to let a naive brain live with those dreamy ideas of life? When life is anything but dreamy.

What about the time when that dream is shattered into pieces? We find out that life is nothing close to that vision of rainbows and roses they led us to believe.

The dreams, which we once held onto, unfolds into reality and the truth just hits like a fireball and we’re all burning in it.

    Really dig your writing skills!
Sometimes Lies are a dream we wanna see, truth sometimes a nightmare. But it is the nightmare that shows us how bad things can get. And the very cause for us to get ready! 🙂
(Sorry for that terrible thought, I just get carried away with thoughts when I read something influencing!) :p

  3. I like how one can pick out a word or phrase like a jewel from your words and think on it, especially if we see ourselves or are in the same situation. Your blog is layered beautifully with both words and photos!
